PCO Testnet Mode
PCOArt is currently available for testing on the OP Sepolia testnet.
RadicalxChange and the Future Art Ecosystems team at Serpentine Arts Technologies are actively seeking artists and communities interested in developing projects using PCOArt as part of a guided cohort. If you are interested, please get in touch.
Using the System
This project implements PCO on the blockchain. Interacting with the smart contract system requires an Ethereum-compatible wallet and the tokens to pay for transaction fees. These requirements apply for both the testnet and (the to-be-released) production systems.
Testnets are intended to mimic production network functionality (without strong or lasting "service levels") and the tokens used on the chain are freely available. Therefore, testnet assets typically don't have financial (or social) value. PCOArt Collections minted during the testnet phase won't be migrated to mainnet automatically but you can easily reproduce them as production releases because of this functional compatability.
Spend time on testnet getting comfortable with the PCOArt system and how it may integrate with your art practice and community. We'd love your feedback and to see your art on PCOArt Mainnet soon!
Quickstart Requirements
- An Ethereum Wallet
- If you don't already have one, Metamask offers browser, iOS, and Android versions here. We recommend using the browser-based extension for ease of testing (the dApp for creating art is optimized for desktops, so you'll have less back and forth between devices).
- You can follow their Getting Started Guide.
- Security Tip: Consider investing in and using a hardware wallet or setting up a multi-signature wallet for your production collection deployments.
- Alternative Wallet Suggestion: Coinbase Wallet
- Ability to connect your wallet to the OP Sepolia Testnet
- At least 0.01 OP Sepolia ETH in your wallet to cover transaction fees
- We recommend using the Superchain Faucet which you can use to claim .05 ETH on OP Sepolia (or more with verification) every 24 hours for free

- Navigate to the PCOArt dApp Create Flow with a modern browser, connect your wallet, and begin creating!
